03/10/10 - Our apologies for the recent absence of information regarding the ongoing development of our ScanControl software. The past 6 months have presented our company with economic, professional and personal challenges that have hampered our efforts to enhance our product.  We have had a very difficult time maintaining the adequate resource levels, meaning people and dollars, required to continue the development of major upgrades and enhancements. This does not mean we have lost the interest or desire to continue to evolve our product. It does mean, however, that major enhancements such as adding the support for the Uniden XT radios, have had to be put on the back burner during these challenging times. The last information we provided to users stated we were targeting a release this quarter adding support for the XT radios.  Regrettably, this target is not going to be met and we can't provide another target date with any degree of confidence at this time.  As soon as our resource picture improves we will assess our ability to complete development of these enhancements and make an announcement here and on our Web Site.  We wish the circumstances were different but these are challenging times for small businesses and we have not been spared.  All of this DOES NOT mean we are discontinuing sales or support for our existing releases to our customers.  ScanControl is still the only product available that supports 21 different scanner models in one program and we continue to receive new software orders from users who have these older radios and require a single, quality software product.  We continue to ship Version 7.1.0 and have no plans to discontinue the availability of this version.

12/05/08 - 3D Technologies is proud to announce the release of ScanControl 7.0.  Version 7.0 adds support for the GRE PSR-500, PSR-600 and the Radio Shack PRO-106 and PRO-197.  In order to better serve our customers two new editions have been added.  ScanControl Full GRE Edition and ScanControl PRO Edition.  The Full GRE Edition supports the GRE and Radio Shack equivalent scanners.  The PRO Edition contains all the functionality of our Full Edition and supports all Uniden, GRE and Radio Shack scanners currently supported by ScanControl, all in one convenient package.  Review our ScanControl Edition Feature Matrix to see which edition supports which radios and what features are included.  Visit our What's New page for all the details.  For information on how to upgrade to Version 7.0.0 visit our Upgrades page.
